Converting the stock housing to a full projector setup not only looks cool but also provides the amazing benefits of being able to run an LED kit. The projector kit is the top 3” projector on the market. With 5th-generation optics powering across their curved cutoff shield and through the standard Kuria Optic clear lens, the kit is a force to be reckoned with. Razor Sharp, unbeatable width, perfectly distributed gradient of light down to the foreground, and a high beam that’ll put some off road LED bars to shame. Options such as shrouds, halos, and demon eye kits will allow you to show off your show-quality retrofit headlights.
Switchback halo: This option means the halo only changes between amber and white. Often times connected to your turn signals and corner light so that the halo blinks amber when you are turning and remains white while you are driving straight.
Color change halo: This option uses a remote to allow you to change the color of the halo to multiple different colors. You will be able to adjust the brightness, strobe patterns, and fading options. This option also includes an amber wire which overrides the current color when it gains power. This means that the color change halo can also flash amber with your turn signals, then go back to your color after you are done turning.
Demon eye: A small color-changing LED that is placed in the projector itself. This allows you to change the color inside the lens while the HID bulbs are off. Controlled by a Bluetooth remote.
Front halo: This halo is mounted to the front of the shroud around the front of the projector lens and can be seen when not on.
Rear halo: This halo is mounted inside the shroud and can only be seen when on. It shines through openings in the shroud and provides a clean look that is also very functional during all hours of the day. These halos are larger in diameter than the front halos.
Bluetooth Controller: Ordered color change halos or a demon eye kit with your retrofit? You'll want to add this controller so you can control your halos/demon eyes right from your phone.

Housing Colors
The headlight housing is the outer shell that holds the headlight components, including the projector, reflectors, and LEDs.
SRQ Fabrications offers multiple headlight housing finishes to match your style and build:
- Chrome: Maintains a factory-style look while enhancing reflectivity for a clean, OEM+ aesthetic.
- Flat Black: A non-glossy, stealthy option that eliminates reflections and provides a rugged, tactical look.
- Gloss Black: A sleek, high-shine finish that adds a modern touch while keeping the headlights bold and aggressive.
- Color-Matched: Custom-painted to match the exact body color of your vehicle, ensuring a seamless and cohesive appearance.
Shroud Styles
The shroud is the decorative cover that surrounds the projector lens inside the headlight housing.
- Apollo 1.0: A classic, smooth design with a subtle, OEM-inspired look that blends well with any build.
- Apollo 2.0: Features a more modern, aggressive design with added detailing for a refined aesthetic.
- Apollo 3.0: The most detailed of the Apollo series, offering a sharp, intricate look with extra styling elements.
- Turbine: Inspired by turbine engines, this design has a high-performance feel with angular vent-like details.
- Panamera Switchback 2.0: A premium shroud option that includes an integrated switchback LED strip, providing both white and amber functionality for DRLs and turn signals.
Note: If you want your shroud to be backlit, a rear halo is required to illuminate the area behind the shroud.
Front and Rear Halos
Halos are ring-shaped LED accents that enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of your headlights.
- Rear Halos: Mounted behind the shroud, these provide backlighting, creating a glowing effect around the projector and enhancing the shroud’s visibility. A rear halo is required for a backlit shroud.
- Front Halos: Mounted on the front face of the shroud, these create a distinct halo ring effect that is highly visible when the headlights are on.
Both front and rear halos are available in two configurations:
Switchback Halo:
- Features white and amber lighting.
- Functions as a white DRL (Daytime Running Light) under normal operation.
- Automatically switches to amber when the turn signal is activated.
- Ideal for turn signals and corner lights, offering a clean, OEM+ look with enhanced functionality.
Color Change (Neopixel) Halo:
- Offers full RGBW (red, green, blue, white) customization.
- Can be controlled remotely to adjust brightness, colors, strobe effects, and fade transitions.
- Includes an amber override function for turn signal integration, ensuring road safety compliance.
Note: A Bluetooth controller (available as a product option) is highly recommended for Color Change (Neopixel) halos, allowing full customization via a smartphone app.
Demon Eye Kit
Demon Eyes are compact LED projectors installed inside the headlight projector lens, allowing you to add a colored glow effect when the headlights are off.
- Produces a vibrant glow inside the projector lens, giving the headlights a bold, custom appearance.
- Can be paired with halos for a cohesive lighting setup.
- Does not affect headlight output, as the color projection is only active when the headlights are off.
Note: A Bluetooth controller (available as a product option) is highly recommended for demon eyes, allowing full control via a smartphone app.
Lens Etching
Lens etching is a customization option that adds a laser-engraved design onto the projector lens, creating a unique, high-end look when the headlights are illuminated. This does not affect light output.
- Toyota Logo: Features the classic Toyota emblem, perfect for maintaining an OEM+ aesthetic with a custom touch.
- Honeycomb Pattern: A modern, aggressive design that adds depth and texture to the projector lens, ideal for those wanting a more unique or high-performance look.
Notes:
- Lens etching is visible both when the headlights are on and off, but it becomes more pronounced when illuminated.
- This is a permanent customization applied directly to the projector lens.
- Works well in combination with demon eyes for a more dramatic effect, as the glow enhances the etched design.
