The +3.5" Long Travel Kit is designed to deliver exceptional off-road performance with 2.5 inches more ground clearance and 5 pounds less weight per lower arm compared to the Standard Series +3.5" kit. The extended 4130 chromoly upper and lower control arms increase track width by +3.5 inches per side and bolt directly to factory control arm mounting locations, providing 12.5 inches of wheel travel with 4WD.
Upper and lower ball joints are upgraded to 1-inch uniballs for increased strength and wheel travel. TOTAL CHAOS uniballs feature a heat-treated stainless steel ball and race for superior corrosion resistance, along with a military-grade PTFE woven fabric liner to minimize noise. Upper and lower control arms utilize urethane bushings to reduce bushing deflection compared to stock rubber bushings, resulting in a tighter off-road feel and improved trail handling. All pivots include zerk fittings for easy lubrication maintenance.
The lower arms feature billet CNC machined uniball cups, internal gusseting, and a fully boxed design for enhanced strength. Dual shock tabs are included to accommodate a TC-specific external bypass shock for additional dampening control. Integrated steering stop tabs retain the factory turning angle with no modification to OEM ball joint cradles.
TC-specific 2.5-inch long travel coilovers bolt directly to the factory coil bucket location. Extended travel shocks are too short and are not compatible with this kit. Adjustable limit strap clevises are included to properly limit suspension droop wheel travel and allow necessary adjustments as limit straps stretch over time.
This kit also includes DOT-approved stainless steel braided brake lines that do not expand, TC custom 17-4 stainless hi-misalignment spacers, and Grade 8 mounting hardware. Fiberglass fenders are required for proper tire clearance.
TC custom 4WD extended axles, sold separately, are machined from 4340 chromoly and reuse factory inner and outer CV joints to retain 4WD functionality.
